Living in Cornwall is always a blessing as a photographer as there is so many locations to take photos. I live near the the bottom end of Cornwall and taking photos is just so easy down here, there is miles of coastline with beaches and loads of locations for portraits. Having two children is such a blessing for me both in the sense that I have two children! and also the fact they are great subjects for progressing my portrait photography skills. You can easily capture great photos of your children too, with a little patience and some imagination.

A trip down Kennack Sands, Cornwall.
Strawberries, family and smiles at Trevaskis Farm
Our Saturday this weekend took us to a little trip down Trevaskis farm. Was a pretty decent day weather wise and we knew the kids would love grabbing some strawberries for after tea at Trevaskis. We headed down and grabbed our punnets and then found the strawberry poly-tunnel so the kids could find all the strawberries they could ever want for their dessert later.
A walk down Lower town woods Helston
Helston, Cornwall is full of little treasure that we have slowly been finding over the past few years. We have tended to go to the places easier to access before as we always had a pushchair but as my little boy grows it's now becoming much easier to go out and take a little walk and have a great adventure for the kids.
Gunwalloe cove the home of BBC's Poldark
Remember that last episode on the first series of Poldark on BBC when the boat had run aground and there was barrels of food and that on the beach. Well it was filmed down the road from me at Gunwalloe cove and its a lovely place and only a five minute drive which is an added bonus. I love going down there when the weather is warm and dry and try and get some good landscape images. I have done portrait sessions down there before as well which is always fun with two beaches to play on and plenty of gorgeous scenery.
