Went to Godolphin house last weekend and it wasn't the best of weather but what a lovely little place it was. As you enter you come past a man under a gazebo who checks your tickets, he was a nice enough staff member and said hello to our little ones. You then are basically left to roam the grounds of this lovely old manor house with some old stables and access to some of the inside rooms and walled gardens.
Was an awesome place to take portraits and lots of nature around to give your photographs some depth and lovely stonework and old doors etc which would make an engagement session perfect in there. The kids also loved the fact they had made up a mud kitchen as well as running through the grounds and exploring the nooks and crannies. There was a few people there and they had a nice little tea room that looked quite modern.
I would definitely like to go back with a model or even a couple for their engagement shoot and get some unique images.
So if your travelling down for easter or even for summer then make sure you check it out as it's definitely worth a little visit. Even more so if you're already a national trust member.

Nice to see springs on the way as well with the daffodils out and bees starting to wake up. Was also quite warm in the walled gardens.
