Hannah and Scott's wedding was a lovely gathering of friends and family and was in the gorgeous setting of the Penventon Hotel in Redruth, Cornwall. The Wedding started like most with a few getting ready shots of the ladies in the hotel suite they were in before the ceremony.
Having not shot a wedding at penventon before though meeting the bride there before the event I knew I was in for an awesome wedding with the opportunity to take some awesome photos. The Venue is situated quite close to the centre of Redruth and is hidden just away from eyes view from the road down a driveway to the hotel. It being spring I was hoping for decent weather though the gardens there don't offer too many photo opportunities. The theme was yellow with daffodils for the flowers and navy.
So upon arrival I met the bride and her mother as well as the bridesmaids all getting ready for the main event. There was also an MUA on the case and I took a few snaps of the make up session.
The one above was one of my favourites of the getting ready shots. Hannah was pretty nervous and she had got to the dress phase of getting ready so this was her checking it out in the mirror, with her father looking onto it from the background. I love little moments like this, the calm before the storm so to speak.
The venue was laid out lovely and they had a gin bar! I am totally going to have to come back for the gin bar. Watching all the guests having awesome varieties of gin was mouth watering to say the least. Well enough about gin. Once all the guests got together we starting getting some more moments with friends and families making it easier to capture some emotion.
Now we move onto the ceremony which was lovely with some nice speeches and great decorations done by the penventon hotel.
I do love the Penventon Hotel and one of the most impressive rooms is their serving area near the bar with lovely old decorations and royal looking furniture etc. Gin Bar/Resturant/lobby has everything you'd need for a wedding or event of any kind really.
It was an awesome wedding at the penventon redruth and I think they were all getting ready for a good dance as I left. A great couple and an awesome ceremony and wedding. Daffodils in spring for weddings should definitely be mandatory I reckon. Hope you enjoyed this blog post and I am going to ty and keep a bit more on top of it over the coming weeks as I have many more weddings to catch up on. Enjoy.
